A small oil tanker, also known as a mobile fueling truck, is a commercial vehicle model based on a Class II chassis that has been modified for the transfer and refueling operations of fuels. Its core components include an oil tank, piping system, anti-electric device, and tax control fuel dispenser, supporting functions such as self-priming and pumping, suitable for scenarios like replacing gas stations and temporary resupply. Leading brands include Dongfeng, JAC, Foton Ailong, etc., with tonnage ranging from 3 to 8 cubic meters. The tank body can be made of carbon steel or stainless steel, and is equipped with a 15-meter fuel hose and compartmentalized design
This vehicle model requires the use of a power take-off to control the oil pump speed through the gearbox. Before operation, grounding and equipment inspection must be completed. When driving, special road conditions require measures such as installing anti-skid chains and controlling vehicle speed. Daily maintenance should avoid sudden braking and frequent maneuvers along the roadside, and fuel should be refilled promptly when the fuel tank warning light comes on. Parking should be away from flammable materials and in a flat area; wheel chocks are needed for parking on slopes.
The main functions of a refueling truck are:
1. Using the pump on this vehicle to suction fuel from other containers and inject it into its own tank body.
2. Using the pump on this vehicle to quickly draw fuel from its own tank and fill it into other vehicles or containers.
3. Used at mobile pumping stations or gas stations.
